Every piece I create begins with the idea that things deserve a second soul. This piece was a plain top hat in the beginning. I have transformed it into a one-of-a-kind wearable art, featuring a handcrafted beaded spider nestled among black feathers, vintage-inspired gears, a tiny working compass, an antique-style key, lace draping, chains, and carefully selected embellishments. Rich black and bronze tones give the hat a dark Victorian fell with just the right touch of industrial steampunk. It is perfect for steampunk festival, gothic events, Renaissance faire, cosplay gathering, Halloween celebration, or simply love collecting unusual handmade art, this hat is designed to turn heads and start conversations. I have signed the inside of the top hat. Saved From the Grave where everything gets a 2nd_soul. Please Note: This is a heavier-weight piece of wearable art due to the layered embellishments and mixed materials. It can certainly be worn for cosplay, conventions, themed events, or photography, but because of its weight it also makes an exceptional display piece for a gothic, Victorian, or steampunk collection. Pre-owned, upcycled condition created from new and pre-owned items. Please see all photos for details, measurements & condition.
