Claude montana black vintage - Gem。Striking and sculptural, this vintage wide belt evokes the bold aesthetic of 1980s French runway fashion. While unbranded, the design closely mirrors Claude Montana for Vacher belts of the 1980s, known for their: * Wide, corset-like shape * Intricate pleating * Hidden closures * French craftsmanship * Supple black leather (believed to be lambskin) with a soft matte sheen and luxurious hand * Intricately pin-tucked pleating across the entire belt for a tailored, corset-like silhouette * Wide and structured 4\" design to cinch dresses, coats, or tunics at the waist * Measures 32.5\" total length * Features a hidden hook-style double prong closure at the back Unlabeled, but acquired from an estate that included authentic Chanel, Claude Montana, and Hermès pieces. Unlabeled CM pieces as well as similar luxury brands did not always tag accessories for the runway and sometimes only a paper tag that wears off. I am showing an example in the last two photos of the belt with red. * Construction, silhouette, and materials are strongly consistent with Claude Montana for Vacher belts from the 1985–1990 era * This belt is a show-stopping piece of vintage high fashion, likely originally worn on the runway or in a luxury boutique setting.
